Iman is a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory for the Chemistry of Construction Materials (LC2) UCLA. Building on his experience in high strength, crack-free, and sustainable concretes using conventional cement, Iman has been focused on developing and optimizing CO2Concrete™ mixture formulations for enhanced performance. Additional research interests include mixture design for additive manufacturing (3D-printing) processes, rheology modification of cementitious binders, and non-destructive evaluation of concrete components. Iman has authored and co-authored two books and around 25 peer-reviewed journal articles and more than 30 refereed international conference papers. He has been recognized by several prestigious awards including the American Concrete Institute Fellowship and American Society of Non-destructive Testing. Iman received a PhD in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology (2017), and an MS (2012) and BS (2009) in Civil Engineering from International University of Qazvin, Iran.
